OSNA – One Step Nucleic Acid Amplification – is an automated rapid molecular diagnostic test for the detection of lymph node (LN) metastases. It analyses the entire LN tissue using a reverse transcriptase loop-mediated isothermal amplification reaction (RT-LAMP*) to quantify tumour-specific cytokeratin 19 (CK19) mRNA expression in LNs.
The pretreatment system RP-10 is an accessory to the OSNA automated molecular diagnostic test.
RP-10 is an instrument to homogenise lymph nodes prior to measurement by the Gene Amplification Detector RD-210. Homogenisation is performed using the reagent “LYNORHAG” in combination with the disposable “LYNOPREP BLADE SET”.
This instrument can homogenise up to 4 lymph node samples at the same time, taking about 1 minute 30 seconds from the start to the end of the homogenisation process.
LYNOPREP BLADE SET (cat #AK186696) is an accessory for the OSNA automated molecular diagnostic test. Composed of containers and blades for the automated and effective homogenisation of lymph node tissues by the RP-10 pretreatment system.
LYNORHAG (cat #CL485270) is a buffer for the lysis of cells derived from mechanically homogenised human lymph node tissue. LYNORHAG is intended to be used for the preparation of samples from surgically removed lymph node(s) for use with the OSNA automated molecular diagnostic test. LYNORHAG is intended for use exclusively in association with the Gene Amplification Detector RD-210, pretreatment system RP-10 and LYNOAMP CK19 E.
